Aarhus Gallery Fine Crafts

A section of the gallery is devoted year round to fine crafts of Maine. The current display includes pottery, jewelry, beautiful silk, cotton and knitted scarves, turned wood and stone vessels and bowls, bronze boxes and trivets, leather bags, wire and bead baskets, pocket collages, notecards and a selection of music by local musicians. There are also fascinating photos of Maine and beyond printed from antique, glass plate negatives chosen from the extensive collection at the Penobscot Marine Museum.

New this month are seeds from our local Troy Howard Middle School Garden Project, in student designed, and printed seed packets.
